From space to earth - ESA technology transfer by Danish students

Patented space technologies can become commercial terrestrial applications with the help of ESA BIC Denmark. DTU students will work with business students from CBS in the X-Tech Entrepreneurship to explore new business opportunities for spinning off promising ESA patents.

The endeavor is part of 13-week master-level student commercialization program X-Tech Entrepreneurship in spring 2021 to the benefit both students and companies.

Promising patents from the European Space Agency, ESA include: A smart hand controller for remote control of robotic devices; Rechargeable lithium-ion batteries for low temperature environments and a high-tech filter for rocket fuels fluids.
