I sidste uge offentliggjorde ESA en ny strategi, som vil styre prioriteringen og indholdet af de programmer, der præsenteres på ESA’s ministermøde 26.-27. november 2025. UFS har anmodet ESA om at præsentere strategien i fire webinarer skræddersyet til det danske rumøkosystem.

ESA will in May, under the ARTES 4S program element, issue an ITT pertaining to defining a European VDES reference architecture and related standardisation, interoperability, and regulatory activities. Denmark has allocated funds to support this activity and encourage Danish collaboration

UFS har i 2025 afsat op til 3 millioner euro (22,4 mio. DKK) til udvikling af rumteknologi gennem European Space Agency, ESA. Midlerne udmøntes gennem ESA’s General Support Technology Program, GSTP til ESA initierede GSTP Element 1 kompendie aktiviteter. Deadline for ansøgninger er 21. april 2025.
Uddannelses- og Forskningsstyrelsen (UFS) udbyder nu 1,8 millioner euro (13,41 millioner DKK) til danske aktiviteter, der ligger inden for rammerne af programmet samt nedenstående kriterier for tildeling. Ansøgninger modtaget senest 2. april 2025 kl. 12.00 vurderes samlet.
Regeringen har besluttet at investere over 135 millioner kroner i ESA-programmer, der blandt andet fokuserer på teknologiudvikling og rumforskning inden for grøn omstilling, telekommunikation og samfundssikkerhed. Investeringerne er med til at give nye kompetencer og erhvervsmuligheder i Danmark.

3D printet er foreslået og designet af DTU, som et af de 10 danske forsøg, der blev udvalgt til Andreas Mogensens Huginn mission. Efter nytår ankommer 3D-printet til DTU, hvor det skal undersøges nøje. Forsøget åbner mulighed for at udnytte 3D-printteknologi til print af reservedele i rummet
