In 2024 up to 8.35 million Euro are allocated for the development of generic space technologies through ESA. Three different types activities are supported: GSTP Element 1 Compendia activities, GSTP Element 2 Make activities and funding aimed at correcting the Danish geo-return and competitiveness.

A vivid annual Danish National Space Conference 2023 taking place at University of Southern Denmark (SDU) is now well behind us. It had 300+ participants as well as 50 speakers and panel experts. Participants and speakers enjoyed lively discussions, and new projects and collaborations were born.

FN’s kontor for det ydre rum (UNOOSA) afholder en mini workshop d. 6. februar 2024 for alle der har interesse i bæredygtig udnyttelse af det ydre rum. Tilkendegivelse for at holde et oplæg skal være RUM i hænde senest 2. oktober 2023.

Klokken 03.27 lokal tid lykkedes det at lave en succesfuld opsendelse fra Kennedy Space Center i Florida med astronaut Andreas Mogensen ombord. Nu venter et halvt års arbejde med at gøre os alle sammen klogere på rummet og planeten, vi bor på.
Uddannelses- og forskningsminister Christina Egelund er rejst til USA for at overvære opsendelsen af Andreas Mogensen til ISS. I forbindelse med besøget vil ministeren underskrive to aftaler om forskningsaktiviteter og undervisningsaktiviteter i forbindelse med rumrejsen.
Uddannelses- og forskningsminister Christina Egelund rejser i dag til Florida i USA for at overvære opsendelsen af Andreas Mogensen til den internationale rumstation ISS. Ministeren rejser afsted med ønsket om, at Danmark fremover øger sit engagement i det internationale rumsamarbejde markant.
ESA astronaut Andreas Mogensen and his family are currently in isolation with a duration of two weeks before the launch. He will be launched as part of Crew-7 to the International Space Station for the Huginn mission on 25 August at 09:49 – Danish time. You can watch the launch on ESA WebTV 2.
