In 2024 up to 8.35 million Euro are allocated for the development of generic space technologies through ESA. Three different types activities are supported: GSTP Element 1 Compendia activities, GSTP Element 2 Make activities and funding aimed at correcting the Danish geo-return and competitiveness.

A vivid annual Danish National Space Conference 2023 taking place at University of Southern Denmark (SDU) is now well behind us. It had 300+ participants as well as 50 speakers and panel experts. Participants and speakers enjoyed lively discussions, and new projects and collaborations were born.

I år deltog kun en enkelt dansk studerende på ESA’s sommerskole i Alpbach. Det var Ali Hamdoun, der snart bliver færdig som maskiningeniør fra Aarhus Universitet med speciale i robotteknologi og dynamiske systemer. Han drømmer nu om et job i rumfartsindustrien.
Det nyoprettede Agentur for EU's rumprogram, EUSPA, har netop udgivet sin første årsrapport. Rapporten giver en oversigt over agenturets aktiviteter i 2021 og danner et godt udgangspunkt for at få et indblik i det nye agenturs rolle i den europæiske rumsektor.
ESA is now offering the opportunity for payloads to ride on board the first return flight to low orbit of its reusable Space Rider. Scientific experimentation in microgravity for pharmaceutics and biology are key examples of a Space Rider service. Deadline for applications: 30 November 2022.
Danmark modtager nu 25 millioner kroner til elleve rumprojekter fra EU’s forsknings- og innovationsprogram Horizon Europe for 2021 og 2022. Rumdelen indgår i programmets klynge 4, der omfatter det digitale område, industrien og rummet. Både virksomheder og universiteter får glæde af millionerne.
